3 hours

Easy

From the medieval streets of Le Marais to the grandeur of the Louvre and the serenity of the Tuileries : explore the very heart of Paris on foot, one story at a time.

Paris is a city best discovered on foot, and this half-day walking tour takes you straight to its beating heart. From hidden courtyards to world-famous monuments, every step reveals a new layer of history, culture, and Parisian charm.

Your journey begins in Le Marais, one of Paris's most captivating neighbourhoods. With its cobbled streets, medieval mansions, and vibrant atmosphere, Le Marais is a living museum  where centuries of Jewish heritage, royal history, and contemporary art coexist side by side.

From there, we make our way to the Hôtel de Ville, Paris's iconic city hall and a powerful symbol of resilience. Burned to the ground during the Paris Commune of 1871, it rose from the ashes more magnificent than ever  a testament to the city's enduring spirit.

Crossing onto L'Île de la Cité, the very island where Paris was born, we arrive at the legendary Notre-Dame Cathedral. From its dramatic Gothic architecture to the tale of the hunchback and its miraculous survival of the Revolution, Notre-Dame has stories enough to fill a lifetime. We'll also pause on the iconic Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris, which has watched the city evolve for over four centuries.

Our route then brings us to the magnificent exterior of the Louvre, once a royal palace, now home to the world's greatest art collection including, of course, the most famous painting ever stolen: the Mona Lisa.

We end our walk in the peaceful Tuileries Gardens, where Parisian families, lovers, and wanderers come to breathe. Once a private royal playground, today it's one of the city's most beloved public spaces : the perfect place to sit, reflect, and let the magic of Paris sink in.
